Tale of the Sages

"Tale of the Sages" is a small RPG that I, James, developed and published as part of my passion project. I began this project at the age of 14.  I have  to balance game development with my schoolwork, so the game is not yet complete, but I plan to finish it gradually.

The game unfolds in a fantasy realm centered around the protagonists, Ricky and Somda. Ricky is a predestined hero whom the King of Trynex foresees will defeat the vile demon lord, Astaroth the Bane, preventing him from conquering the surface world by usurping the powers of all seven sages. Somda, the last free sage, assists Ricky on his mission.

This turn-based fantasy RPG adventure, reminiscent of JRPGs and influenced by the Dragon Quest series, primarily emphasizes combat, exploration, and narrative. It also features various other mechanics, including crafting, cooking, material gathering, and training.
